Nail of the Day: Rimmel Space Dust in 'Aurora'

Hello, sweeties! Rimmel's Holiday collection has finally arrived here in Belgium! I've been looking forward for this collection for weeks now. Ever since I saw photos of the Space Dust nail polishes, I know I had to get my hands on 'Aurora'. They had a few other beautiful colors, but this one was my favorite!

This polish is one of the 'Liquid sand' type polishes. It's very interesting because this is a gritty glittery polish, that looks quite matte at the same time. I love this kind of polishes. But if you don't like the texturised feeling on your nails, this might not be something for you.


Aurora is a very light pink-champagne color, with silver glitters in it. It's quite nude, although it has loads of glitter and shimmer in it. It was perfectly opaque after two coats. It dried a bit slower than I thought and I'm someone who touches her nails way too fast after applying nail polish so it messed up my nail a bit. Positive thing about this polish? You can't tell if you messed it up because the color is so light :D
