To make this post not tooooo long and boring, I'm going to over all the products quite quickly.

Sunday, February 19, 2017
Hello everybody! A while back, I promised you guys a new empties post because my empties bag was fuller than ever before! I hope you're ready for the post, because it's gonna be a long one. I'll be saying goodbye to lots of hair, face and body products and also some make-up things. Let's get started!

The worst thing about being at the sea side for a month, was not being able to open up my deauty box when it arrived at home. But finally, yesterday, I was able to discover what's inside. The theme is month is 'summer' and it includes products to be prepared for the hot weather.
Deze maand zitten er 5 producten in de doos, waarvan er 3 full size zijn.
This month, the box consists of 5 products. 3 of which are ful size.

Hey sweeties! Ready to look trough my beauty trash together? My empties bag started to look a little bit full again so I decided to do another empties post. As you know, I absolutely love reading and writing empties posts so I actually really wanted to do one, after a few months. Let's start talking and then recycling!

Hello sweeties! It's March, yay! I love March: the beginning of spring and my birthday probably have something to do with that... Let's start this month with one of my favorite types of blogpost: empties! I love writing these as much as I love reading them.
Because my february favorites are pretty much the same as my january favorites, I decided not to do one this month. But I'll do a March favorites and I hope you'll accept this post instead of a favorites one. Let's started on what I finished in the last couple of months! :)

February has already begun but I still wanted to share my January favorites with you guys. I don't do these type of posts often because I feel like I'll always show the same products. I want to do these more often this year so I'll try to write them each month or maybe every two months. Let's get started on the products!
I have a mix of old favorites and new discovered items. A bit of makeup, a bit of skin/hair care. I did not include nail polishes in this post because I haven't worn a lot of nail polish this months. I gave my nails some time to be 'free'. But don't worry, I have some NOTD's coming soon ;)

The December box has arrived extra early this year, so all the included products can be used during the Holidays. I was so happy when I opened this box, they have included some awesome products.

Hello, sweeties! Today, I'm doing a favorites post for May AND June. I didn't do a favorites post last month because I didn't have a lot of new favorites to show you. There was only 1 product I really loved that month (more about that later). Same for June, but I was able to find some products to write this post. I just don't want to show you guys the same blush/concealer/mascara/shampoo each month. So these are the products that really stood out to me the last two months.

Hello everybody! Today I'm talking about my january favorites. It's the first month of 2014 and it has gone by so quickly... It was not a very exciting month, I had exams at school, like most of you guys had as well. So my makeup had to be quick and easy this month! I have a few favorites to show you, and a lot of them are new ones. So let's get started!
Favorite shower products?
I've been loving my Cranberry Joy Body Polish from the body shop. Their body polishes are amazing! They exfoliate the skin in a gentle way, but makes it very soft! Put your favorite body lotion on top on you'll have soft, irresistible skin.
I've also been loving the Yves Rocher Cocoa-Orange shower gel, which smells like Jaffa/Pim's Cakes. When I smelled this, I immediately went back to the store to buy another bottle.
Nivea Straight&Gloss shampoo is an all-time favorite of mine. Even when I don't include it in a favorites post, you can just be sure that is was a favorite because it's the only shampoo I use. I always go back to this one when I try out something else. It makes my hair soft and not frizzy.

December is finally here and that means that we can put up our Christmas trees, go christmas shopping and enjoy the holidays! I've been wanting to do this blogpost for a few days now, but I decided to wait at least until december had actually started.
Everywhere, Christmas collections and gift sets are popping up and I'm getting really excited for Christmas this year. I wanted to share some things with you guys that are on my Christmas list this year.

Hello everybody! Every year, Yves Rocher comes out with a delicious holiday collection. Last year, they had the 'Pomme Delice' collection, which smelled as good as it sounds: like caramel-cinnamon apples. I bought the candle and perfume back then. This year, they have a Cacao collection (I just notice that it's 'Cocoa' in English and 'Cacao' in Dutch/French... pretty confusing, but I'll use the word 'Cacao' because that's the name of this collection here) with three scents: Cacao-orange, cacao-framboise (raspberry) and Cacao-pistache (Pistachio)

Raise your hand if you have that one favorite color you just can't seem to get enough off. With me, that's taupe. I love taupe nail polishes, I think they can make your fingers look so pretty and classy and lady like. Now, I realise I maybe have too much taupe nail polishes. I have 8.
Yes, I know what you're thinking! 'WHAT? 8 taupe polishes? Why would you need that?'
Well, the only answer I could think of is: they're different?
I decided to do a compairison on all these nail polishes, to show you guys how they all look and which ones are my favorite. All the swatches are taken in natural light and are 2 coats.
As you can see, these are all pretty different once you put them on. Essie's Chinchilly is the most grey of the bunch, O.P.I.'s You Don't Know Jacques is the most brown. Hema is the only polish with a metallic finish, it's pretty cool! Essie's Lady like is the most pinky/purple. Eyeko's Posh Polish is pretty dark, a bit darker than it appears to be in the bottle. H&M's Taupe is a gorgeous color, but the quality is terrible. I wore this once and it was chipped after 15 minutes. 15! Kiko's 319 is also pretty dark with a tiny, tiny hint of purple in it. Yves Rocher's Taupe Rosé also has a little rosy brown tint to it.
It's funny to see how many different colors there are available and they're all so different. I think there is a right color for everyone out there, you just have to find it ;)
My favorites? Hema's 004, Essie Lady like, and Yves Rocher's Taupe Rosé
What's your favorite one?
xx,
Astrid

Hello everybody, I wish you all a happy newyear! I hope this year will be fantastic for everyone. Today I'm showing you my favorite body lotion ever: the Yves Rocher Expert Repair Lotion for extra dry skin. I bought this in may, when I recieved another card from Yves Rocher. I had -50% on a few products by choice and I decided to chose this one. I never thought I would love this so much!
This is a soft, moisturizing cream infused with shea butter that doesn't leave a greasy feeling on your skin. I usually use it after a shower or when my skin needs that little something more . It sinks in to the skin very quickly, which I like a lot. It also has an amazing scent that stays for a while. It keeps the skin very soft. I use often on my arms, because they can get really dry.
I like the product, I like the scent and I will definitely repurchase this (after my project pan)! I just love it! ;)

Hey everyone! Today I wanted to talk to you guys about the Yves Rocher Correction Shine and Fill Base Coat. I bought this about three months ago, when I realised that I actually never really used a basecoat that much and I wanted to get one that would also fill in the ridges of my nails.
I won't say this is a fantastic base coat, but it does the job. I'm using it to protect my nails against discoloration, because I like to use darker nail colours in the winter.
It dries quickly and leaves a matte finish on the nails. It doesn't fill in the ridges on my nails that well, but I don't mind. I'll use this up but then I'll start looking for a better base coat :)
You can get this base coat in the Yves Rocher stores for €6,95 but if you get the Yves Rocher News Letters in your mail (the cards that they send every few months with coupons and free gifts with purchase), you can easily get this with 50% off, like I did.
What base coat do you use?
