Hi sweeties! Today, I'm showing you all the beauty stuff that I got in Paris. I mostly went to Sephora and I got some stuff in a Pharmacy and one thing at Monoprix. I really wanted to buy the Too Faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette, but it was sold out everywhere. I went to three Sephoras and one girl who worked there said it was sold out in all the Sephoras in France. Too bad, but I found some other fun things.
This will be a long blogpost, so get yourself a snack and something to drink, sit back, relax and have fun reading ;)
The best part of the haul is that EVERYTHING was -20% at Sephora! (Also on the website)They were having some kind of June sale.
April has flown by and summer is getting closer and closer. I skipped my March favorites this year because there wasn't a lot of difference with my February favorites. But in april, I discovered some new stuff (mostly hair stuff and blushes) so let's get started!
Hey everyone! February has flown by and we all know what that means: it's time for the monthly favorites! I'm really excited about March because it's my birthday month. I'll turn 21 this month so you can imagine my excitement and happiness.
Hey everyone! Today, I'm doing my first 'favorites' blogpost ever! I never did one of these blogposts ever, but I'm not sure why. So I decided to start this month! November has flown by so fast, I can't believe it's already december! 2014 is coming closer! I have 10 makeup products to share with you, let's get to it! ;)
I know that this palette has been around for a couple of years now, but I never did a review about did. I don't know why, because this is my absolute favorite of all the Naked Palettes out there. This palette had a very beautiful packaging, but because of the felt, it gets dirty very easily. Mine is a bit dusty, as you can see. Let's get to it!
Hey girls! Are you looking for the perfect palette to create a 'no makeup'-makeup eye look? I think this little palette right here can be something for you. This is the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. This came out a while ago and I wasn't that impressed at first, but I saw some great reviews and beautiful eye makeup looks with this do I decided to pick it up as well.
Hey everyone, today I wanted to do a blogpost about some products that I really like. The only downside on these products is: They are discontinued or the brands are no longer available in Belgium. I'm doing this blog post because I really like these products, but I feel like I can't do a separate review on them, because they aren't available anymore.
'I hate cosmetics companies. They get you addicted to the perfect
lipstick or nail polish and then, six months later, they discontinue it.
You have to buy your favorite colors like you're storing up for the
Apocalypse.'
- P.S. I Love You
This quote pretty much explains it all.
You will notice that a lot of these products are from Eyeko. Eyeko is an awesome that makes on of the best liquid liners out there. But their nail polishes and pencil liners are great as well. BUT... about two of three years ago they completely discontinued their whole makeup line and now, they only make liquid liners and mascaras. I can't even begin to describe how disappointed I was. I have found a website of a Belgian beauty store, Beauty Queen, where they still sell some of the Eyeko products. Maybe I should stock up?
1. Essence Multi Colour Blushes in 'How Cute Is That?' and 'Fashionista'.
These are not the most pigmented blushes I own, but they are gorgeous. I like the 'How Cute Is That?' one for a daytime neutral cheek, 'Fashionista' is also a nice neutral pink, but also perfect for going out.
2. Eyeko Cherry Fat Balm
You can use this as a blush or a lipstick. It's a gorgeous berry color and it smells like sweet cherries.
3. Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow in 'Ruthless'
One of my favorite eyeshadows ever! Soft, pigmented and creamy. Everything we look for in a good eyeshadow. Urban Decay doesn't sell this type of eyeshadow anymore, too bad :(
4. Eyeko Graffity Eyeliner in Black
Pigmented. Black. Lasts all day. Great. The best liner ever. I've noticed this is drying up a little bit. Why, Eyeko? Just why?
5. Eyeko Line & Shine Duo Colour Pencil in 'Electric Purple/Plum' and 'Electric Blue/Teal'
The Plum side is my very very very very favorite everyday eyeliner. The other colors are so fun and bright for when you want to do a look with a pop of color.
6. Wet 'n Wild
They used to sell Wet 'n Wild in Di, but not anymore. The last couple of years, I've been hearing so much about this brand and I want to try out so much stuff. I have 2 palettes: This one on the photo and a neutral one. They are very old and I don't know their names. I love the texture of the shadows and I'd like to try out more.
7. Eyeko Nail Polishes in 'Tea Rose Polish' and 'Chichi Polish'
Eyeko had great polishes. They are pretty much opaque in one coat, why would they discontinue fantastic polishes like that?
So tell me, what product(s) do you LOVE, but aren't available anymore?
xx

Another product I bought when I was in France, was the Urban Decay Lip Love Honey infused lip therapy lipgloss. That's a long name! This products was on sale for -70%! I only payed 4,80 euros for this, which is insanely cheap for a Urban Decay product. I got the color 'failbait', which is a sheer coral color. I thought this would be perfect for summer!
I like the description on the box:
It's true love... Our honey-infused lip therapy feels cushiony, shines like crazy and moisturizes lips with essential fatty acids, moisturizers and antioxidants. This stuff is way too serious to feel soooooo good. With it's hint of tint and luscious honey scent, you'll want to keep one in your bag, one at your desk and one at your lov-ah's.
Swatch: Failbait
The gloss smells great, just like honey! It does not feel sticky at all, which I love as well. But I had expected just a bit more color. The gloss shows up clear on my lips, too bad because I really liked the coral color :( I'm happy that I got this gloss on a discount, because I don't think I would ever buy this full price (16 euros).
Do you like Urban Decay products? What's your favorite?
xx Astrid
