Hi sweeties! Today, I'm showing you all the beauty stuff that I got in Paris. I mostly went to Sephora and I got some stuff in a Pharmacy and one thing at Monoprix. I really wanted to buy the Too Faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette, but it was sold out everywhere. I went to three Sephoras and one girl who worked there said it was sold out in all the Sephoras in France. Too bad, but I found some other fun things.
This will be a long blogpost, so get yourself a snack and something to drink, sit back, relax and have fun reading ;)
The best part of the haul is that EVERYTHING was -20% at Sephora! (Also on the website)They were having some kind of June sale.
I'll start with the nail stuff. I found a set of three OPI polishes, three kind of top coats. A regular one, a matte one and a glitter one. This set was around €20. One bottle of OPI polish is around €15 in Belgium so I thought it was a good deal.
I got some regular nail polishes as well. At Monoprix, there were a lot of polishes marked with a pink sticker. All these polishes were -50%. I got a Rimmel polish in 'Rose Libertine', a beautiful light pink color.
At Sephora, I got :
- Formula X in 'A Little Sexy' this color caught my eye immediately
- L'Oréal polishes in 'Indigo Classique' and 'Jean & Tonic'. These both have a textured 'jeans' effect.
Sephora has amazing nail art stickers, the one that are made of real nail polish. They had some new designs: a beautiful rainbow paint splatter design and a space/starry sky design. These nail stickers are amazing! They last about a week or longer!
Now, on to lip products! I got one of the new Benefit lip balms. They have made matching lip balms for all their lip and cheek stains. I tested them all out on my hand and I thought the Chacha Balm looked very good. It smells great too!
I managed to hurt myself with a tester of the Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks. How?! I dropped it one my foot and it somehow left a little bruise. Now you guys know how clumsy I am. Anyway, I choose two colors: 'Naked' and 'Rapture'. Two nudes, but one is a darker berry color. Don't worry, reviews will soon be posted!
I always wanted to try out the Clinique Chubby Sticks and I saw this set with a free polish and bag included and I decided to get it. It's one of the Intense colored chubby sticks in the color 'Grandest Grape', which is a dark berry-purple color.
When I saw the Marc Jacobs products, I got so excited! They were quite expensive, so I choose one product: The Lolita eyeshadow palette. With 7 soft, buttery, gorgeous nude eyeshadows. So beautiful.
I also bought the right NARS duo this time. Last time, I accidentally got the 'Alahambra' duo in stead of the 'Kalahari' one. I love Alahambra and I use it quite often, but I'm happy finally I got this one!
This wasn't available at Sephora, but I got it at the Galeries Lafayette: The Clinique Cheek Pop blushes. I couldn't decide with color to get, but the lady at the Clinique stand said that 'Ginger Pop' would look best on me.I really liked how it looked on my skin and I was so happy that I've finally found these!
On this photo, you can see some of the products without their cardboard packaging. How cute is that Clinique blush?
Last, but not least: Skin Care.
I didn't get a lot of skin care products, but I'm really excited about the things I got. I heard a lot of amazing things on youtube about the Glamglow Supermud Clearing mask. I'm not going to lie, it was expensive but I really wanted to try out. It's a clay mask that helps with all sorts of skin problems like acne, blackheads, pimples, zits, pores etc etc! I want to use this mostly on my T-zone, about once or twice a month. I'll let you guys know how it works out!
I got my first bottle of Bioderma Crealine H2O solution micellaire! This was the last bottle left at the Pharmacy I went to, but I'm happy I got it.
I also looked at the Caudalie Beauty Elixir, but the big size was a bit too expensive to buy. What if I didn't like it? But the man who worked at the Pharmacy told me they had a smaller size available, so I could try it out and see how I liked it. He said it was an amazing product and that he uses it all the time. I must say, his skin looked amazing so I think I'll believe him! He also gave me some samples of other Caudalie products to try out, which was really nice of him.
If you made it till the end: congratulations!
I hope you didn't mind that this haul was so long!
If there is anything you would like to see a review on, let me know!
