1. Ok we're talking coffee's - what's your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero etc?

I like the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks, but I haven't been going a lot there! This summer, I've gotten really into Cappucinos and that what I make at home with out Dolce Gusto Coffee machine. I'm also a lot into Nesquik chocolate milk again, with my breakfast in Ghent. Njumm!

Sunday Chitchat: The Dreams Tag

Hello, lovely sweethearts! Long time, no writing! I'm so glad to be back home after being at the sea side for a month. I wanted to do a tag today and I recently saw a new tag on youtube: The Dream Tag. I love dreaming and I (day)dream quite a lot so I thought it would be the perfect tag for me to do.

- What are you currently day dreaming about?
I'm a bit of a dreamer, sometimes I even day dream too much. Currently, I'm day dreaming about going to New York. I'm going there on vacation in September and I can't wait to go! And ofcourse - this might be a bit of a cliché- I'm currently day dreaming a lot about a guy. But I think that subject of my day dreams will only remain a dream. 

Time for Spring: Spring has Sprung Tag!

Hey everyone! I was watching some Youtube videos this morning and I suddenly saw the 'Spring has sprung tag'. I had never seen this before but I like these kind of seasonal tags so I decided to do it! Let's get on to the questions, shall we? 

What are some spring trends you're looking forward to the most?
I haven't really kept up with the trends this year, but I always love floral prints and pastel colors so those are the trends I look out for each year. Time to put away the boots and thick sweaters, bring out the dresses and ballet flats!
  
Whats your favourite spring clothing piece?
I have two! I bought two dresses at my favorite shop, Naf Naf. The first one is a turquoise dress with a floral and bird print. I saw this in the shop and I had to try it on immediately. It looks amazing on. The other one is a jeans dress with little white hearts on it. I love how these look, they scream spring to me. I love it!

My Life In 20 Questions Tag

 Hey girls! I'm sorry for not uploading a blogpost the last week. I had a busy week and a serious lack of inspiration! Luckily, I found another very fun tag to do today! I know I've doing tags a lot, but I really like doing them. I promise the next couple of blogpost won't be any tags!

1. What is your favorite color? Red

2.  What is your favorite number? 7

3. What is your dream career? I study occupational therapy and I'd love to work in a revalidation center. I'd also love to work with people who have a sensorial handicap. But in a complete other direction, I'd love to do something with fashion or beauty in the future.

4. Where do you see yourself living when you're on your own? Now, I live in a studio in Ghent, but I go home in the weekends. I'd like to live in a city when I'm done with my studies. But when I want to start a family, a nice house in a calm neighbourhoud seems like a great place as well.

5. Where is your favorite place to travel? I like traveling trough europe. I really love Italy and Spain! Any place sunny and warm will make me happy.

6. What do you do in your free time? Blogging, hanging out with friends, watching series. I'd like to start doing more sport in my free time.

7. Favorite clothing stores? NafNaf, H&M, Vero Moda and New Look are my favorite places to shop.

8. Dream car? Volkswagen Beetle: such a cute car!

9. What TV shows can't you live without? Sex And The City, Grey's Anatomy, New girl, How I Met Your Mother,...

10. 3 things you need in your life are... The three F's: Family, friends and fun!

12. If you were given 1 million dollars all for yourself what would you do with it? I'd help my family if they need something, buy a house, go on a big shopping spree and save the rest for later.

13. I have a celebrity crush on...? Jamie Dornan, Pharrell Williams, Alex Pettyfer, Liam Payne (from One Direction), Ryan Gosling, Orlando Bloom,... I could go on for hours!

14. What is your favorite treat to eat? Anything with chocolate! I also really like chips, when I want something non-sweet!

15. My favorite wild animal is...a giraffe! Just look at them! They are goofy, beautiful and so cute!

16. What is your favorite season? Spring/summer

17. My favorite childhood show was... Degrassi, the next generation. In Belgium, we had a few kid shows like Samson&Gert (the adventures of a man and his cute dog), Spring ('Jump', which was about a group of friend that went to the same dancing school) and W817 ('Wait a minute', which was about a group of student living in the same house). I really liked those 4 shows as a kid! I still watch W817 when it's on tv now :p

18. Why did you start blogging? I love reading blogs and I love makeup. I wanted to try blogging for a while so I decided to try it out. And I loved it immediately!

19. What do you hold close to your heart? Memories with my family and friends.

20. What is one music artist that you are in love with? Right now, I've been loving the song 'Drunk in love' by Beyoncé. I've always loved her music. I love Ed Sheeran, Amy Winehouse and Emeli Sandé a lot as well.

The Christmas Tag!

Hello, my lovely readers! A few days ago, I was reading 'The Christmas Tag' on Sanja's blog. I wanted to do a Christmas tag for days now and I realised I better hurry up because it IS almost Christmas. So here it is, let's get to the questions.

1. Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?

At home, we always install a real Christmas tree, so that is what I prefer. It smells nice and it looks really beautiful. Synthetic trees can look good too, but personally, I prefer the real ones.

2. You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?

I actually never pick anything special, I haven't tried anything Christmas-related in a coffee shop. I usually stick with a vanilla latte with skinned milk.

How many lipsticks do you own?
I counted them all as best as I can and I think I have about 35 to 40 lipsticks (lip glosses not included). When I counted them, I was surprised because I thought I had a whole lot more! I'm not sure about the correct number because it is possible that a few lipsticks are hiding in a handbag or somewhere else in my room.

What was your first ever lipstick?
The first lipstick I ever bought was a very light pink and frosty lipstick by Hema. It's didn't look good on me at all and I haven't worn it a lot, to be honest :p 

Sweater Weather Tag

Rain, sweaters and boots... Yes, people, Fall has officially arrived here in Belgium! Fall is one of my favorite seasons so I just had to do this tag when I saw it on youtube. Time to make a hot chocolate and begin answering these questions! ^^

1. Favorite candle scent? 
I really love vanilla candles, like 'Tindra' from Ikea. But my absolute favorite was 'Pomme Delice' from last year's Yves Rocher Fall collection. It smelled so good! I also have the perfume from that line. 

2. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate?
I really really really love hot chocolate. But I'll have to choose coffee here because a few days ago, I tasted the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte for the first time and it was so delicious! I've been thinking about getting another one for days now! Their Vanilla Latte is fantastic as well.

Summer of Bloggin', July 30: 7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag!

Hey everyone, today I'm doing the '7 deadly sins of beauty tag'. I've seen this a lot on youtube and I saw it a couple of times on blogs too. It always looked like such a fun tag and I finally decided to it. Let's get to the questions.

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive? 

That's a tough one. My most expensive beauty item are my Urban Decay Naked palettes, I think. They were 45€ each. But if you do the math, you get 12 full-sized UD eyeshadows. Those are €17 a piece when you buy them as a single, so a UD palette is always a great deal.
My most inexpensive beauty item is a black Sinful Colors Nail Polish that was 1,99$. I got this on vacation in the States 4 years ago and it's crazy pigmented. One coat is enough to cover my whole nail! I never actually wear black polish, but I use it a lot for nail art.

Summer of Bloggin', July 1: Beauty Blogger tag!

Hey everybody, I have some excited news. Starting today, I'm going to write a blogpost every day of the month of July. I've thinking about this for a while now and it looks very exciting and fun. First, I wanted to write a blogpost every day of the whole summer, but I have to redo some exams in August and I'll have to be studying that month, so I chose July only.


Today, I chose to do the Beauty Blogger tag, I saw this on Sanja's blog, sparklewithlaughter. She does so many fun tags! Let's get to the questions.

 

Colors of the rainbow tag!

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to write this blogpost! Most of you probably have seen the 'Colors of the Rainbow Tag' that has been going on on youtube. A lot of gurus have done it and I think it's such a cute and fun tag. So I decided to do it as well. I had to look around a bit, but I have found products that match the rainbow! :D

• Yellow: For yellow, I've chosen the Benefit 'Dear John' daily moisturizer. The product itself is not yellow (Yellow cream, that would be a bit weird...) but the packaging is. This is a great moisturizer, I (try to) use this every day. Now the bad news... Benefit had completely changed their skincare line, so they have discontinued this facial cream. But I think they have a similar one in their line.
• Orange: Vineyard peach scrub from The Body Shop. If you love peaches, you will faint when you smell this! It smells like fresh peach yoghurt. Heaven! This is a very creamy scrub and I love it. Love love love it.
• Red: The perfect lipstick to buy when you are new at red lips. It's a coral red and because it's a lustre, it will be a bit sheer. Absolutely gorgeous. I think this was discontinued, but you might be able to find it at stores who still have a few in stock or at Ebay.
• Pink: 'Bella Bamba' blush by Benefit. This hot pink blush is perfect for summer! It's bright, bold and very pigmented! I have to use a little bit, or else I look a bit like a clown :p But it is a gorgeous shade!
• Green: I discoverd this brand of face masks and scrubs at Kruidvat (Belgian and Dutch drugstore). This is the Freemann Advocado and Oatmeal face mask. It works like a normal face mask: you put it on your skin, wait 10 to 15 minutes and rinse it off. It leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated.
  
• Bleu: The Bourjois Gentle Eye makeup remover. I can't say a lot about this. My favorite makeup remover ever, I keep repurchasing it. It's soft, gentle, takes of everything and doesn't leave a greasy feeling on the skin.
  
• Indigo: The Rimmel '1 2 3 Looks' mascara by Rimmel. This is a mascara that can create three looks, when you twist the bottle to the desired stand. 1 is the least volume, 3 the most. I like 2 the most. 3 is a bit more dramatic and for me, perfect for a night out.
  
• Purple: My favorite eyeliner-duo ever. What will I do when I run out of this? :( I've chosen this Eyeko eyeliner because of the 'Electric Purple' end of it. Crazy color, but you can create some pretty looks with this.
  
• Multi-colored: I found this t-shirt at a store in Ghent, they're were having a sale. It's so colorful and I like it so much! This has actually inspired me to do this tag :D

40 Beauty Questions Tag!

My first tag, so exciting! I found this tag on Ashlee's blog and decided to do it as well. Let's get started with the questions!

SKINCARE
-How many times do you wash your face daily? Twice. In the morning and before I go to sleep :)
-What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo) Combination skin.
-What is your current facial wash? Bourjois Foaming Cleansing Cream.
-Do you exfoliate? Yes. At least 2 times a week or more, depends on whenever I feel my skin needs it.
-What brand do you use? The Body Shop, Freeman or Yves Rocher.
-What moisturizer do you use? Benefit Dear John Moisturizer.
-Do you have freckles? No, I don't.
-Do you use eye cream? Yes, the Sephora Instant Depuffing Eye Gel.
-Do you or did you have acne prone skin? No, I never really had much acne. I mostly have a problem with dry skin sometimes, in certain places on my skin.
-Did you ever have to use Pro-activ? No, I haven't.

MAKE-UP
-What foundation do you use? I don't use much foundation, almost never. I don't think I need it and  I also have not found a good foundation that I would want to use everyday ;) but I use BB cream sometimes.
-How about concealer? Currently, I'm using the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer.
-Do you know your undertone color? I think it's neutral, but sometimes I think I see a hint of yellow hidden in my skin.
-What do you think of fake eyelashes? Never tried them, to be honest.
-Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months? Yes, I know.
-What brand of mascara do you use? Right now, I switch between two mascaras: The Maybelline Falsies and the Benefit They're Real mascara.
-Sephora or MAC? Without a doubt, Sephora! I love Sephora! I usually go to Sephora in France, but would love to go to an US Sephora one, because they have so much more brands than they do in France.
-Do you have a MAC Pro-card? No, I don't.
-What makeup tools do you use in make up application? Brushes and my hands :)
-Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes? Yes, I love the Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
-For the face? No, but that's also because I don't use foundation that much.
-What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)? Urban Decay 'Sin', Estee Lauder 'Tempting Mocha' and the peachy-champagne color in the 'Nude Elements' quad from Revlon.
-Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner? I like them both, but I use pencil more often.
-How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil? Almost never, yay! But I poke my eye with mascara sometimes...
-What do you think of pigment eyeshadows? They look beautiful, but I find them a bit tricky to work with.
-Do you use mineral makeup? Sometimes.
-What is your favorite lipstick? Mac 'Viva Glam 2', Mac 'Gem of roses' and Revlon Lip Butter in 'Pink Truffle'.
-How about lipgloss? I like the Nyx lipglosses but I don't really have a favorite lipgloss.
-What is your favorite blush to use? No. 7 in 'Soft Damson' and Benefit 'Sugarbomb'.
-Do you buy your makeup on ebay? No, I've never bought anything on ebay.
-Do you like drugstore makeup? Yes, I do.
-Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets) I don't think we have those in Belgium, but I would love to go to one once :)
-Did you ever consider taking make-up classes? It looks like fun, but I have no idea where you can take those :p
-Are you clumsy in putting on makeup? Yes, sometimes! But (a lot of) practice makes perfect. I still need to learn ;)
-Name a makeup crime that you hate? Dark lipliner with a light lipstick. Why, just WHY?
-Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones? mostly neutral, but a pop of color in the summer can be fun :)
-Which celebrity always has great make up? Mila Kunis, I love her smokey eyes. But Leighton Meester can look amazing too.
-If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item,what would you use? Concealer, to brighten up my eyes.
-Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on? Yes, why shouldn't I? :D
-Do you think you look good even without any makeup on? I think I look good, but in my opinion, I look better with makeup on.
-In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line? Revlon, Benefit and Urban Decay.
-What do you think of Makeup? Makeup is, when used correctly, a perfect way to emphasize certain qualities. You can make your eyes pop or make your skin look perfect. I just love makeup so much.
