The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Face Mask Review

Friday, March 3, 2017

Happy March, everybody! March is my favorite month ever because spring starts and my birthday is coming up! The Body shop had brought out 5 amazing face masks about 6 months ago. For each skin type a special ingredient. They have one with roses to plump the skin, honey for nourishing, Amazonian acaï for radiance, Chinese ginseng and rice to polish and Himalayan Charcoal to purify. Today, I'm going to talk about that last one.

Time to Recycle: Empties #14

Sunday, February 19, 2017

Hello everybody! A while back, I promised you guys a new empties post because my empties bag was fuller than ever before! I hope you're ready for the post, because it's gonna be a long one. I'll be saying goodbye to lots of hair, face and body products and also some make-up things. Let's get started!

To make this post not tooooo long and boring, I'm going to over all the products quite quickly.

Time to Recycle: Empties #13

Wednesday, December 7, 2016

Hello everybodyyyyy! Oh my god, I wanted to blog today so badly and I saw that this post was a concept since august! I'll just write it now and hope that you guys don't mind that another empties post will also be written soon because my empties-bag is overflowing. All my intern-assignments for school are finished so I decided to have a chill evening. And that means... blogging!

As always, I'll write about the product, my experience with it and if I want to purchase it again. I'd say: let's get started!

Time to Recycle: Empties #12

Saturday, June 11, 2016

You know it's time to empty your 'Empties Bag' when you discover a spider in it. This has been way too long: It's time to recycle! I know I've absent for a LONG time now, but things at school have been crazy busy. I had to concentrate on my internship and after that, I had an exam. I finally have time to blog again and trust me, I have so many blogpost planned for you guys! Let's start with one of my favorites: the empties!

Time to Recylcle: Empties #11

Wednesday, February 24, 2016

I was so happy to see the products pile up in my Empties bag again: Time for another one of my favorite posts! I've done a big declutter in my make-up stash last month and threw away everything I don't use anymore/haven't used for a long time. I'm not going to show you everything, don't worry. But I'm showing the products I've used up recently and will tell you if I would repurchase them or not.

The Body Shop Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Moisturizing Scrub Mask

Saturday, February 13, 2016

I think I have found my favorite scrub/face mask ever. The weather here in Belgium has been very weird lately: one day the sun is shining, the other it's pouring rain and than it's freezing. My skin can't keep up. It's been feeling a bit dry. While I was in Amsterdam, we went inside the body shop and they were busy training new employees. They asked us if we were interested in some skin care advice. I had a very sweet employee and she told be about this great face mask. I decided to try it out and it is amazing!

Time to Recycle: Empties #10

Tuesday, December 29, 2015

2015 is almost coming to an end, so it's time for the last empties post of the year! Empties are still my favorite post to write and read. This time, there are a few products included that seriously disappointed me, I'm happy to get rid of them. Other products are favorites.

Time To Recycle: Empties #9

Thursday, August 6, 2015

The Empties-bag in my bathroom started looking a bit full again so I decided it was time for my favorite blogpost again! This time, a lot of mascara is included because I cleaned out my mascara box and decided it was time to toss a lot of them out. Other than that: face products, hand products, deodorants. I say we get started on recycling!

March Favorites 2015

Wednesday, April 1, 2015

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? March is over and I'm a bit sad because it's one of my favorite months. But it's time to share my favorites with you girls and I'm happy about that! I don't have a lot of them, because this month, I was really into the 'No Make-up make-up' look so I kept it all very toned down and natural. I also had quite a few days where I wore no make-up at all because my skin was acting a bit weird at times. Let's get started with my favorite products of this month!

Empties #7: February 2015

Monday, March 2, 2015

Hello sweeties! It's March, yay! I love March: the beginning of spring and my birthday probably have something to do with that... Let's start this month with one of my favorite types of blogpost: empties! I love writing these as much as I love reading them.
Because my february favorites are pretty much the same as my january favorites, I decided not to do one this month. But I'll do a March favorites and I hope you'll accept this post instead of a favorites one. Let's started on what I finished in the last couple of months! :)

January 2015 Make-up Favorites

Friday, February 6, 2015

February has already begun but I still wanted to share my January favorites with you guys. I don't do these type of posts often because I feel like I'll always show the same products. I want to do these more often this year so I'll try to write them each month or maybe every two months. Let's get started on the products!

I have a mix of old favorites and new discovered items. A bit of makeup, a bit of skin/hair care. I did not include nail polishes in this post because I haven't worn a lot of nail polish this months. I gave my nails some time to be 'free'. But don't worry, I have some NOTD's coming soon ;)

The Body Shop December Sale Haul

Saturday, December 13, 2014

Hi sweeties! I'm back today with a haul from The Body Shop. TBS is currently having a 'Buy 1, get 1 -50% off' sale and I decided to get a little crazy in there! I wanted some things from the Christmas line and I wanted to try out one specific product but I walked out with a few extra goodies.

First of all, I got the Vanilla Brulee Body Polish, which smells exactly like creme brulee. Because the second product was -50% off, I decided to also pick up the Frosted Cranberry body polish. If you're looking for a good body scrub to use under the shower, these are a recommendation! I've been using the strawberry one for years now.
The Body Shop always has good deals and extra specials for their members. When you spend €35 or more, you get a free product. This time, it was the White Musk Shower gel, worth €17! I was very happy to get this for free. I wasn't that familiar with the White Musk scent, but it smells quite nice!

The Body Shop 24 Days of Joy Advent Calendar: Week 1

Sunday, December 7, 2014

This year, the countdown to Christmas eve is much more exciting, thanks to the Body Shop's Advent calendar! This is the first year the calendar is available in Belgium and I can't even begin to explain how excited I am about this. I got this way back in October and kept in my room, untouched, until last monday. I thought it would be fun to give you guys a weekly overview of the products that are hidden inside this box. So let's get started, shall we?

The box is beautifully decorated with all sorts of Christmas drawings: presents, a snow man, santa's sleigh, a moose and lot's of snow. When you open the box, you get 24 little compartments filled with 24 products from The Body Shop. It's so much fun to wake up every morning and open up a little door, to discover what's behind it.

Empties: Products I Used Up #6

Thursday, October 23, 2014

Time for another empties post! The bag where I keep all my empties in was starting to look a bit full again so I decided to write about them. I personally like empties posts a lot, because they're the perfect way to really review a product, since you used all of it. This might be another one of those long blogposts, so sit back, relax and enjoy reading!

1. Nivea Pearl & Beauty Deodorant: I used up two of these. I usually keep a deodorant at home and one at my studio in Ghent and this time, they ran empty at the same time. I really like this deodorant, it has a pleasant scent that lingers for quite a while and it's very gentle on the skin.
Would I repurchase? Yes!

2. Nivea Stress Protect Deodorant: This is only a travel size I picked up to keep in my handbag, but I actually really liked the scent of it! I don't know if it really reacts to stress and it certainly does not last 48 hours, but it stays on a long time and is also gentle on the skin. I might pick up the full size one of this one soon!
Would I repurchase? Yes

Product Empties: July 2014

Thursday, July 10, 2014

Oh, that feeling you get when you finish up a product. I've been collecting my empties for a very long time now - So much stuff was almost empty at the same time! - and I can finally write this. It's going to be a long one, so you know what to do: get a snack and something to drink and ENJOY.
