Time to Recycle: Empties #12

Saturday, June 11, 2016

You know it's time to empty your 'Empties Bag' when you discover a spider in it. This has been way too long: It's time to recycle! I know I've absent for a LONG time now, but things at school have been crazy busy. I had to concentrate on my internship and after that, I had an exam. I finally have time to blog again and trust me, I have so many blogpost planned for you guys! Let's start with one of my favorites: the empties!

I keep all my empty products in a Karen Millen bag that's always in my bathroom. It was looking very crowded so I decided to dump it all out and write about it. There are some amazing products here, and also some things I've happy to get rid off. This might be a long post so grab a drink and a bite to eat and enjoy!

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer: I know I've talked about this one quite a lot on this blog already. I still love it so much.

Would I Repurchase? Yes! Always <3

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder: This one has been through a lot and it's time to part with it! I've dropped this about a 100 times. It's very strong, because it never broke. The lid did break, so I had to keep it like this in my make-up bag. Very bad, I know! It's a great powder, but I discovered the Catrice one that is great as well and that one is a lot cheaper!
Would I Repurchase? No

Kiko Nail Polish Remover Travel Wipes: Horrible, horrible product. It does take off your nail polish but it leaver a weird layer of Idon'tknowwhat on your nails. I had to use actual nail polish remover to take that off. If you need to use nail polish remover to take off your make-up remover, you need to toss it. Immediately!
Would I Repurchase? Never!

O.P.I. Drip Dry Drops: You drop this on your nail after you painted them. It makes them dry quicker. It's a great product, but I don't really 'need' it. I'm quite patient when it comes to painting my nails and this is quite expensive. If you are someone who wants to have dry polish asap, you can purchase this!
Would I Repurchase? No

Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eyeliner: I never really liked this eyeliner, so I just randomly decided to toss it out.
Would I Repurchase? No

Toni & Guy Shampoo and Conditioner: *sobbing* This duo was the best damn thing that ever happened to my hair. Seriously, I got these on sale for 2€ at Kruidvat in stead of 9,95€ and they were AH-MAZING. I miss them both... *sobs a bit more*
Would I Repurchase? Yes. But they are quite expensive... Some day!

Gliss Kur Liquid Silk Anti-Klit Spray: Finally, I used this one up... Now I can finally repurchase the dove spray conditioner again. This one didn't do much for my hair, to be honest.
Would I Repurchase? No.

My Hoin Ni Caviar Extract Mask: Sanja from Sparkle With Laughter kindly sent me this sheet mask for my birthday in March and I loved it. I really enjoy using sheet mask and freaking people out on snapchat while wearing them. This one made my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Yes, please! More of that :D
Would I Repurchase? Yes

Nivea Waterlily & Oil Shower Gel: A normal everyday shower gel that came in a set. It smelled nice, but it wasn't outstanding.
Would I Repurchase? Maybe

The Body Shop Papaya Shower Gel: I love how this made my whole studio smell like an exotic fruit salad after a shower. When in doubt, always buy a shower gel from TBS.
Would I Repurchase? Yes

The Body Shop Maroccan Rose Perfume: I really loved this perfume when it first came out in TBS, but it know smells a bit off. Time to part with it. It was a very heavy rose scent. Sometimes a bit too heavy. The current 'British rose scent' they have now is much fresher.
Would I Repurchase? No

Nivea Stress Protect Deodorant: This is my current favorite deodorant and I love who they brought out a handy dandy handbag size. I always keep one in my bag.
Would I Repurchase? Yes

Dove Go Fresh Deodorant: Dove deodorants are awesome! This one has a fresh scent that lingers quite a while. Don't have anything bad to say about it.
Would I Repurchase? Yes

Helena Rubenstein All Mascaras Make-up Remover: I got this one in a set with the mascara once and decided to use it after the Garnier one was used up. It's one of those make-up removers that had to layers and you have to shake it up before using it. It takes off make-up quite well but it leaves this horrible greasy layer on the skin. No no no.
Would I Repurchase? No

Garnier Mild Eye Make-up Remover: One of my favorites! Takes off make-up very well and is very gentle on the skin. Love tis one a lot! :D
Would I Repurchase? Yes

Bioderma Micellair Water: "Simply the best, better than all the rest". Was Tina singing about Bioderma? She should have because it's true. I love this one as well!
Would I Repurchase? Yes

Have a great weekend, ladies <3

  1. Welcome back <3
I love the idea of using different colours for your ''would repurchase'' options, they instantly caught my eye! And that Rimmel powder packaging is one of the worst things ever, the lid literally brakes every single time. So annoying....

    1. Yes indeed! I like how the Catrice powder closes like a normal compact! Much better :D

  2. You had some busy weeks. Glad you're back. ;) If I found a spider in my bag, I would probably freak out and never want to use that bag again :D.
Rimmel Stay Matte is one of my favorites, but I also always break the lid. Unless I only keep it at home and I do that now. I also take Catrice powder with me, because it's more secure. I totally agree with you on Bioderma, simply the best :D <3

The packaging of the Rimmel powder is terrible, they should change it! :)
