When Kiko is having a sale, you need to go for it quickly because their stuff can sell out fast. I woke up at 8am to check the website the first day of the sales and a few hours later, a lot of their holiday collection items were already sold out. I'm so happy I was able to get my hands on these products. In this post, I'm showing you everything I got, show the swatches and share my first impressions. It'll be quite a long post so grab a snack, sit back and relax! 

Beauty Haul: My Trip to Italy!

Hey ladies! I recently got back from a trip to Italy with my boyfriend. We did a tour through Tuscany and visited Lucca, Firenze, Arezzo, Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa. Italy is the land of Kiko, you can find them in every city! Also, you can find Sephora in most of the cities! I picked up a few things from Kiko, Sephora and a local supermarket.

H&M Beauty: Review and Swatches

As a lot of you may know, H&M has recently brought out a FANTASTIC new beauty line. About two weeks ago, they were having a 'buy 2, get 1 free' sale. I bought some stuff and now, I'm completely hooked. I got a lipstick, a blush and a velvet lip cream. A week later, I went back to get another lipstick. In this post, I'll be showing swatches of everything. 

I got the following products:

- Pure Radiance Powder Blush in 'Pink Peach'
- Cream Lip Color in 'Siena Piazza' and 'Penny Red'

March Beauty Haul: Deauty, Di & Kruidvat

Can you believe it's already April? March was a very busy month but I managed to get some shop therapy every now and then. I got some things on sale at Kruidvat, received a Deauty box and splurged at Di (local drugstore). Some nail polish, cheek products, eyeshadow and lip stuff... I'm ready for Spring, bring it on!

London Beauty Haul: Boots, Superdrug & TK Maxx

Hello, beauties! How are you guys all doing? Summer has been a busy time for me and I needed to sit myself down and take the time to blog. And god, I missed it! Last week, I went to London with my parents for three days. We did a lot of visiting, walking, eating and I got some time to shop as well.

Ofcourse, you can't go to England without some shopping at Boots and Superdrug. I also discovered TK Maxx, a store where you can find fashion and beauty items for a very low price!

Deauty Augustus Anniversery Box

Deauty wordt twee jaar deze maand en dus is de doos van Augustus een tikkeltje specialer dan normaal. Via Facebook lieten ze weten dat er 3 fullsize producten zouden inzitten, waaronder een blush en een nagellak van T. Leclerc. Ik was zeer benieuwd naar de rest en was dan ook zeer blij toen de postbode voor de deur stond met het pakje!

Deauty celebrates it's 2nd anniversary this month, so this box is extra special. They had shown some spoilers on Facebook and told us 3 full-size products would me included in this month's box. 2 of those are products van T. Leclerc, a blush and a nail polish.

Kiko Haul: Summer Sale

Haaa, nothing better than an evening of blogging! I went to the french city of Lille a few weeks ago on a day off and I walked into Kiko, to see what they had on sale. I was very suprised and happy with what I saw and I got some beau-ti-ful things. I had a bit of time to test out a few of the products and I love them!

April Favorites 2014

April has flown by and summer is getting closer and closer. I skipped my March favorites this year because there wasn't a lot of difference with my February favorites. But in april, I discovered some new stuff (mostly hair stuff and blushes) so let's get started!

MUA Mosaic Blush in 'English Rose' Review

MUA (Make Up Academy) has officially arrived in Belgium and the Netherlands. The complete range is now available at Kruidvat. A few days ago, I went to Kruidvat and when I saw the chelfs, I almost screamed. I looked at the products but I didn't feel the need to pick anything up. I think most of the eyeshadow palettes were sold out because there were a few types left. But then I saw the Mosaic Blush in 'English Rose'.

MUA is a British makeup brand that is very affordable. It had beautiful eyeshadow palettes (a few of which are exact dupes for the UD Naked palettes), lipsticks, blushes, mascaras, nail polishes... I suggest you look up product reviews before you pick up something because some products are better and more pigmented than others.

M.A.C. 'Stereo Rose' Mineralize Skinfinish Review + Swatches

I walked by the M.A.C. store close my studio in Ghent yesterday and I saw the beautiful display of the 'Fantasy of Flowers' spring collection. I had read a few reviews about this collection and I wanted to check out the beautiful, famous mineralize skinfinish in 'Stereo Rose', which is a favorite of a lot of beauty lovers.

Stereo Rose is repromote. It first came out at the end of 2012. Now, it's important to know: the color has changed. Stereo Rose is a different, lighter color now. So if you were hoping to finally get your hands on the original color, keep in mind that this is another version.

Kruidvat Haul: Sale items and Repurchases!

Discontinued Products That Need To Be Back!

Hey everyone, today I wanted to do a blogpost about some products that I really like. The only downside on these products is: They are discontinued or the brands are no longer available in Belgium. I'm doing this blog post because I really like these products, but I feel like I can't do a separate review on them, because they aren't available anymore.

'I hate cosmetics companies. They get you addicted to the perfect lipstick or nail polish and then, six months later, they discontinue it. You have to buy your favorite colors like you're storing up for the Apocalypse.'

You will notice that a lot of these products are from Eyeko. Eyeko is an awesome that makes on of the best liquid liners out there. But their nail polishes and pencil liners are great as well. BUT... about two of three years ago they completely discontinued their whole makeup line and now, they only make liquid liners and mascaras. I can't even begin to describe how disappointed I was. I have found a website of a Belgian beauty store, Beauty Queen, where they still sell some of the Eyeko products. Maybe I should stock up?

1. Essence Multi Colour Blushes in 'How Cute Is That?' and 'Fashionista'.
These are not the most pigmented blushes I own, but they are gorgeous. I like the 'How Cute Is That?' one for a daytime neutral cheek, 'Fashionista' is also a nice neutral pink, but also perfect for going out.
2. Eyeko Cherry Fat Balm
You can use this as a blush or a lipstick. It's a gorgeous berry color and it smells like sweet cherries.

3. Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow in 'Ruthless'
One of my favorite eyeshadows ever! Soft, pigmented and creamy. Everything we look for in a good eyeshadow. Urban Decay doesn't sell this type of eyeshadow anymore, too bad :(

4. Eyeko Graffity Eyeliner in Black
Pigmented. Black. Lasts all day. Great. The best liner ever.  I've noticed this is drying up a little bit. Why, Eyeko? Just why?

5. Eyeko Line & Shine Duo Colour Pencil in 'Electric Purple/Plum' and 'Electric Blue/Teal'
The Plum side is my very very very very favorite everyday eyeliner. The other colors are so fun and bright for when you want to do a look with a pop of color.

6. Wet 'n Wild
They used to sell Wet 'n Wild in Di, but not anymore. The last couple of years, I've been hearing so much about this brand and I want to try out so much stuff. I have 2 palettes: This one on the photo and a neutral one. They are very old and I don't know their names. I love the texture of the shadows and I'd like to try out more.
7. Eyeko Nail Polishes in 'Tea Rose Polish' and 'Chichi Polish'
Eyeko had great polishes. They are pretty much opaque in one coat, why would they discontinue fantastic polishes like that?

No. 7 Blush in 'Soft Damson' Review and Swatches

Hey everyone I'm back again today with a review on one of my favorite blushes: the No7 Blush in 'Soft Damson'. I bought this at the drugstore Boots, in London over a year ago and it has become one of my favorite blushes ever! 

The packaging is simple, but classy. I love it. It's not too big, so it doens't take much space whenever I take it with me on a trip.

This is a classic medium pink blush. You would even say that there is nothing special about it. But I think everyone should have a color like this in their collection. It's perfect for an everyday look, but you can also wear it on a night out.

 

Soft consistency and not too bright. This blush gives me a perfect, healthy glow. I use this almost every day because it's just so pretty!

I would recommend this blush to everyone!
