I walked by the M.A.C. store close my studio in Ghent yesterday and I saw the beautiful display of the 'Fantasy of Flowers' spring collection. I had read a few reviews about this collection and I wanted to check out the beautiful, famous mineralize skinfinish in 'Stereo Rose', which is a favorite of a lot of beauty lovers.
Stereo Rose is repromote. It first came out at the end of 2012. Now, it's important to know: the color has changed. Stereo Rose is a different, lighter color now. So if you were hoping to finally get your hands on the original color, keep in mind that this is another version.

Happy Saturday, sweethearts! I hope you guys are having a great day! It's a bit rainy here in Belgium, so I decided to stay inside and do some blogging! Today, I'm showing you guys the last part of my Primark Haul: the actual clothing! In this haul post, I'll show you how most of the clothing looks on.

Hey everybody! I'm here today with a quick NOTD. I wanted to paint my nails in one of my favorite spring colors, so I decided to go for Essie's 'Lilacism'. I found it right next to O.P.I.'s 'Glitzerland' and I thought they would be a nice combination.
I put on three coats of Lilacism. It's quite a sheer polish, but it's perfectly opaque after the third coat. Then I took the back of a makeup brush (you can also use a dotting tool or even a bobby pin) and put some of Glitzerland on a piece of paper. And then you can start putting dots on your nails! I wanted a subtle look, so I just decided to put three dots on each nail.
I think pastel and gold makes a very cute combination! I think this would also look great with blue, pink or green! :)
What's your favorite spring color combination?
xx,
Astrid

Hello sweeties! Today, I'm showing you guys the jewelry and I got at Primark. I got some bracelets, statement necklaces, shoes and other cute stuff. And the best part of it was: it was all very affordable! Let's go!
The first thing I got was a pack with six pairs of earrings. I liked how these looked and it's always handy to have some small earrings in your collection.

Hey girls! Today, I'm showing you a nail polish from a collection I've been waiting weeks and weeks for: 'Over and Over A-Gwen' from the Gwen Stefani collection for O.P.I. I've been to the store so many times to see if the collection arrived and a few weeks ago... it had arrived! I picked up two colors: Push And Shove and 'Over and Over A-Gwen', which is the one I'll show you guys today.
This polish comes in a very beautiful collectors box and includes nail glue and Swarovski studs and crystals to spice up your nail look. I'm a big fan of Gwen Stefani, so I loved the box. It also comes with a little pamphlet that gives ideas on how the use the studs in combination with other colors from the collection and how to achieve the look.

Hello everybody! I'm here today with a new series called 'Spring is Coming'. I want to share some fun spring stuff with you guys because spring always gets me really excited and happy. It gives me 'In-spring-ation'. Haha. Sorry.
We are having wonderful weather here in Belgium (we're breaking records here: it's the warmest beginning of March EVER).
So I went spring shopping and I bought.... 5 bikini's. Yes, you have read that correctly. 5. I can explain. I haven't bought a new bikini in more than 2 years, so I really needed some new ones! I'm also very picky about them and how they look on my body. Vente Exclusive, an outlet site, was having a Hunkemöller beachwear sale, with bikini's from last year's collection at -50%, so I got a few things there and yesterday, I went to Primark and I also bought two bikini's there. There will be a Primark haul very soon on this blog so stay tuned for that!
The first one I got from Hunkemöller was this black bikini with pearl details on the top and on the bottom. I really liked how it looked, you can't go wrong with a black bikini. It has an underwire built in, something I really like and look for in bikini's because to be honest, I kinda need it.

Hello, ladies! I know I haven't written a blogpost in quite a while, but school had been really busy lately and I still had a severe lack of inspiration. I think that happens from time to time with everybody, right? But I have a ton of new things to show you guys, starting today! Yesterday, I went to Antwerp to see a show by the Royal Ballet Company of Flanders. They performed 'Romeo and Juliet', which is one of my favorite love stories ever!
My mom and me took a train to Antwerp, where we walked around a bit on the Meir, which is the long and beautiful shopping street of Antwerp. We went to Planet Parfum, where the O.P.I. Gwen Stefani collection had finally arrived. I got 'Push and Shove', the mirror-like polish and 'Over and Over A-Gwen', the cream red color. Reviews on these colors will be on this blog as soon as possible!
The show began at 2 p.m., so we looked around for something to eat. At the front of the theatre, they was a market where my mom and me got some chicken soup at a soup truck. We also got a filled maroccan pancake with cheese, olives and vegetables like peppers, artichokes and other things. It was fast, inexpensive and delicious! It was cool to see a market like this with so much variety of food and places to sit.
At the show, we weren't aloud to take any pictures or audio recordings. But it was so beautiful! The story reminded me a lot of the movie with Leonardo Dicaprio. It was the first ballet show I ever saw and I was very moved by the dances and the story. It's my favorite story by shakespeare so I was very happy to have seen it.
After the show, we met up with my dad, who also came to Antwerp. We looked around for a place to eat and decided to go to Ellis Burger. This is a very hyped up restaurant where they serve home-made burgers. It's always very busy but we were lucky because a table had just opened up! I couldn't decide which burger to choose so I got the 'Trio of mini burgers'. This way, I had the classic beef burger, the chicken burger and the lamb with guacamole burger. It was so delicious that I completely forgot to take a picture :(
As a dessert, I got the warm chocolate cake.
I hope you liked this 'day in the life' type blogpost. I want to do more of these in the future. I'll also post an Outfit of the Day, about what I wore yesterday! :)
How was your weekend? What did you do?
xx,
Astrid
