NOTD: Neutral glitter with OPI 'My Very First Knockwurst' and Maybelline 'Rose Chic'

Sunday, February 8, 2015

Hey sweeties! How is your sunday going? I'm back today with an NOTD. I was in Lille this week for some shopping and I got this lovely nude OPI nail polish called 'My Very First Knockwurst'. It was from the Germany collection a few years ago. I don't think it's available in Belgium anymore so I was happy to find it. I also picked up Maybelline's Rosy Gold, from the Crystallize collection.

'My Very First Knockwurst' is a creamy rosy nude. It's kind of a 'My nails but better' color. It applies a bit streaky and I needed at least three coats of this to make it opaque. But it looks very classy and beautiful on the nails. It also dries quite quickly. I really like this one, you just have to work it and be a bit patient.
'Rose Chic' is a color from the Maybelline Colorshow Crystallize collection. It has that liquid sand texture and is actually an exact dupe for Rimmel's Stardust Aurora. I'm very happy to have found this color because my Rimmel one has disappeared a while ago. It applied like a dream: one coat was enough to completely cover the nails but I decided to put on an extra layer just to be sure.

xx,
Astrid

  1. It's a gorgeous shade, but it's a shame that it needs at least 3 coats, especially since O.P.I. polishes are quite pricey here...But I love the combination :)
