Essie No Chips Ahead Top Coat Review

Saturday, December 29, 2012

Hello again everyone! Another Blog post today about the Essie No Chips Ahead Top Coat. I got this in September, at the Brussels airport. It came for free with an exclusive airport set of three bestselling Essie polishes (Mademoiselle, Chinchilly and All Lacquered up).

Where do I begin? First of all, I don't think the little brush is that practical. Most of the Essie nail polishes have these thick brushes, that make it easy to paint your nails. This one has a very thin one and I don't like that at all. The formulation is very runny and takes a long time to dry, something I do not have patience for.
And than we have the fact that I don't think it actually does something on my nails. As most of you, I do not like chipped nail polishes and this did not help with that. I'm glad it came for free in that nail polish set because I don't think I will ever repurchase this. I will use it up but only because of my project pan ;)

I'm not sure how much this Top coat costs, but I think it's around €10,99. I think that's a lot of money for a top coat that doens't really work that well, in my opinion.

Have you used this top coat? What did you think of it?
Or do you have another (better) one?
Let me know ;)

Yves Rocher Correction Shine and Fill Base Coat Review

Hey everyone! Today I wanted to talk to you guys about the Yves Rocher Correction Shine and Fill Base Coat. I bought this about three months ago, when I realised that I actually never really used a basecoat that much and I wanted to get one that would also fill in the ridges of my nails.

I won't say this is a fantastic base coat, but it does the job. I'm using it to protect my nails against discoloration, because I like to use darker nail colours in the winter.
It dries quickly and leaves a matte finish on the nails. It doesn't fill in the ridges on my nails that well, but I don't mind. I'll use this up but then I'll start looking for a better base coat :)

You can get this base coat in the Yves Rocher stores for €6,95 but if you get the Yves Rocher News Letters in your mail (the cards that they send every few months with coupons and free gifts with purchase), you can easily get this with 50% off, like I did.

What base coat do you use?

Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow Quad in 'Nude Elements' Swatches

Monday, December 17, 2012

Hey everyone, today I'm showing you one of my favorite eyeshadow quads: the Revlon Colorstay 12 hour eyeshadow quad in 'Nude Elements'. I like this quad because the colours in it are a little different than the other nude quads that are out there on the market.

You get 4 nude colours in this quad. A white with a satin finish, a beautiful champagne-peach colour, a purple-brown and a gunmetal grey. I really like this quad because it's great for everyday use.

The eyeshadows are all really smooth and they apply gorgeous on the eyelids. My favorite colour is the peach-champagne one because it's great for when you are in a hurry in the morning but you would like to have something on your eyes.

You can find this Revlon quad at INNO and some Planet Parfum stores for €11,95.

Do you like Revlon products? What's your favorite?

Challenge: I stop buying makeup and beauty products?

Sunday, November 25, 2012

Hey everyone! After a lot of thinking, I decided to challenge myself in something that will be one of the most difficult things ever: I will stop buying makeup for six months. During those six months, I will try and use up as many beauty products that I own, so I can make room in my collection. We can look at this as a 'project pan', but usually people decide how much products they use up, I will try to use up as much as I can.

Why am I doing this challenge?
When I looked at my collection, I realise that I have too much products that I don't use. But I still keep buying more, so a lot of products just never get used. Now I'm a sucker for cheaper brands like Catrice, Essence, 2BE, and others. But enough is enough. Spending money on cheaper products is also spending money! I want to save money and be able to reduce my makeup collection.

Everyone seems to have different rules for their 'Project Pans', so here are mine:
1.) To add a product to my finished "Pan" list, I have to use up the entire thing, not just hit pan. I have to be removing it from my collection..
2.) I have to be removing the product from my collection and not repurchasing it, like mascara or eyeliners I have enough of those that need to be used up). Now for some products, I will have to replace them, like my deodorants, makeup remover,... But no new makeup or beauty products like creams, scrubs,... I have too many!

3.) When I see a limited edition products that I really really really want, I will allow myself to buy it. BUT only when I know I'll use it a lot and when I know I will regret it when I don't buy it. But this is an exception, so the product has to be amazing and worth buying! Also, I will have to keep the product in its box until I'm done with this project. Then it will be like a little reward for finishing the six months!
4) I can buy beauty products for someone else, when it's their birthday ofcourse ;)

Will I still be doing reviews? Ofcourse! I will do reviews on things that I already have (which is more than enough) and I will show you each month what I've used up (with a litlle review about each product) :)

This will be hard and I will blog about the proces but I'm determined to finish this. We start today, on November 25th and the challenge will end on June 1st!

Wish me luck!

Have you ever done something like this?
Was it hard?

Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow In 'Birthday Suit' Swatch + Review

Thursday, November 22, 2012

Hey everyone! Today I'm back with a review on the Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in 'Birthday Suit'. This is a light metallic, soft goldish colour that I bought this a few months ago in a Sephora in Paris. These are supposed to be a cream eyeshadow/liner that stays put on your lids all day!

I really like Benefit packaging! It's always so cute! This is a glass container with a black lid with birds on it. I think it's beautiful, but practicalas well.

This is a beautiful, creamy eyeshadow, perfect as an all-over-the-lid colour or as a base for other shadows. BUT for me, it's not creaseless. I always have to use a good primer to make sure my (cream)eyeshadow doesn't crease troughout the day, also when I use this kind of eyeshadows. So yes, I like this a lot. I just to do the extra effort to put on my Too Faced Shadow Insurance underneath this.

Do you like cream eyeshadows? What's your favorite?

Nail of the Day: Revlon 'Vixen'

Tuesday, November 6, 2012

Hey everyone, today I'm showing you the first Revlon nail polish I've ever bought: Vixen. This is a beautiful dark burgundy cream polish, perfect for fall and winter.

                                                       Swatch: Vixen

This polish went on really smooth and was opaque in two coats (+ one base coat). The only downside is the brush, it's thin and that makes it harder to get the polish on smoothly. I like bigger brushes, like the O.P.I or Essie ones.
However, this is a color I will wear a lot this fall and winter, I love it! I dried really quick too, which is always a good thing ;)

Revlon is available at INNO and Planet Parfum for €8,95

Nail of the Day: OPI Astrid in Wonderland Collection 'Go Nutty For Donutty' Swatch&Review

Monday, October 15, 2012

Two weeks ago, I heard about the Astrid Bryan Collection by OPI that would be available in stores in october. The collection contains 4 gorgeous colours, all chosen by Astrid Bryan herself. I saw photos of the collection in the magazine 'NINA' but I didn't think they were that special. But then I saw the colours in the store and they really are, as Astrid would say: 'AMAZING'.

From left to right: My pimped out wonderland (shiny black), Amazing California Love (Spicy Fuchsia), Go Nutty for Donutty (Elegant brown-beige nude with the cutest name ever), Chillin by the pool (Silver Blue)

I bought the shade 'Go Nutty for Donutty', because I think the name was so cute and the colour was really elegant and classy. Nude goes with everything and I can't get enough of shades like this!

I have no complaints about the quality of this polish. It was smooth, creamy and perfectly opaque in two coats. I LOVE the colour, it really reminds me of donuts! OPI and Astrid did an amazing job with this collection, the colours are great, the names are funny and remind us all of Astrid and her quotes.

This collection is exclusively available in Belgium for €13,95. If you're interested in this collection, go to the store fast because I have a feeling this collection will sell out quite quick!

What do you think of this collection?

Astrid.

Beauty Wishlist October 2012

Thursday, October 11, 2012

Hey everyone, today I'm not here with a product review but with a list of beauty products that I really want! Some of these products are expensive, others are not available in my country (yet)!

1. Revlon Whimsical nail polish: This is handsdown the most beautiful polish I've ever seen. It's a light bleu creamy polish with glitter that's supposed to be a dupe for 'Glitter in the air' by Deborah Lippmann. Sadly, this color is not available in Belgium :( I've tried so hard to find it online but all the websites that sell this polish, usually don't ship to international destinations. If you know where I can find this, let me know!

2. The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Scrub (Special Edition): This scrub smells like heaven. I love peaches; the color, the smell, the taste, just everything about them! The reason I haven't picked this up yet is because I want to use up my Body Shop Strawberry Polish first. But the next time I'll smell this in the store, I probably won't be able to resist ;)

3. Marc Jacobs Dot Perfume: I'm a big BIG fan of his perfume Daisy, but the more I smell this in the store, the more I like it! I bought Daisy two years ago when I went to NY with my family for $45, but in Belgium, the 50ml of Dot can be up to €60! I'll have to wait until Christmas or my birthday for this one...

4. Revlon Kissable Balm Stains: These are the chubby balm sticks with a stain infused in them and they look so cool! I've heard good things about this products on youtube, but the balm stains are not available in Belgium yet :(

5. Deborah Lippmann Nailpolish: Another product I've heard great things about, these glitter nail polishes are supposed to be AMAZING. But I think €20 for a nail polish is a bit much... So I keep looking and dreaming about these, but I won't be purchasing one any time soon.

We all have products we really want, but can't purchase for some reason.
What is your beauty wishlist?

Have a nice weekend everyone,
xx

Nail of the day: Essie Demure Vixen

Wednesday, October 3, 2012

Hi everyone, today I'm back with a nail of the day with a beautiful nude fall colour: Essie's Demure Vixen. This is a dusty, old rosy mauve colour with a beautiful blue iridescence to it. It looked like a great everyday nude colour, something everybody needs in their nailpolish collection.

                                                  Swatch: Demure vixen

See that beautiful iridescence? I love it!

This polish was very sheer and it took me about  3 or 4 coats to get it to look like the colour in the bottle. Usually, I would find this to be very annoying, but the layers dried within minutes so my nails didn't get messy. I wished the blue iridescence would show up a bit more, but I think it would show up a bit more when you hold your nails in bright sunlight (which we don't have in Belgium now).

I really like this nailpolish and I'll be wearing it a lot this fall (and winter... and spring....), it's just the perfect nude! This polish is available at Kruidvat and Di for €10,99.

What's your favorite nailpolish for fall?

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Normal Skin Review

Tuesday, October 2, 2012

Hey everybody, today I'm here with a review about the Garnier BB cream. This was one of the first 'Western' BB creams that came out, after the growing popularity of the Asian brands. I bought this a couple of months ago in Kruidvat, a drugstore in Belgium. This product claims to hydrate, protects, even out your skin while covering up blemishes AND it keeps the skin matte. Let's see if this cream can really live up to the claims!

Packaging: I must admit... I was kind of disappointed when I first saw the tube in real life. Somehow, I had expected the tube to be bigger. But it actually is a pretty decent amount of product that you're getting. The packaging is a skin coloured tube, which I think looks pretty nice. Not really pretty or special, but not ugly or something either.

Colour range: One of the downsides of this product is the color range. This comes in two shades: light and medium. I use the Light colour and it works good for me, but the medium one isn't that dark either; so a lot of people won't be able to use this product because of the light colours.

Smell: This cream smells a bit like soap, in my opinion. I heard a lot of people said it was the typical 'Garnier Smell' but I think it's more soapy than that. I'm not a bog fan of the smell, but the smell is subtle, so it doesn't bother me that much.

Coverage: Light coverage, I think you can built the coverage a bit up, but I just use one coat and that's enough for me. I usually take my concealer and cover up any more redness in my face if needed. BUT if you have a lot of redness or acne, this BB cream won't be able to cover it all up, because it's so light.

Blending: It looks a bit like a thick cream, but it's actually a light consistency that blends out really well on the skin.

Feel on the skin: This product left a bit of a greasy feeling on my skin. You can take that feeling away by just putting a powder over it. On the skin, the cream looked dewy and quite beautiful, but I somehow don't like the feeling on my skin.

Staying power: The cream stayed on for a good time, I wore this all day and didn't need to touch it up. However, my skin got really oily troughout the day. A friend even asked me if I was sweating! This BB cream is for normal skin, I have a combination skin that can get dry or oily in certain places. But this really was too oily for me. A few months after they released this cream, they also released one for oily/combination skin and I might give that one a try because it will problably work better with my skin.

Price: This BB cream is available at drugstores for €9,99. You get a lot of product for the price, but I regret buying it because it made my face too oily and that's why I don't like to use it. Maybe I will use it more in the winter, when my skin gets more dry and needs more moisture.

Overal, This is not the right product for my skin. I will try to use it up but I'm not a big fan of it. I think it's just a regular tinted moisturizer that they called a 'BB cream' but for me, it just doesn't live up to the claims.

Have you tried this BB cream? Did you like it?

Astrid

Khiel's Ultimate Strenght Hand Salve Review

Monday, October 1, 2012

Hi everybody, I know I haven't been blogging much in september, but I got busy with my new school year! :) I'm ready to start again and reviewing products for you guys.
Today I'm going to talk about a product I use multiple times a day, especially in the fall and winter! That product is: hand cream.

My hands can get really dry in the winter and I always like to have a good, moisturizing, non greasy hand cream with me. A year ago, I bought this one from Khiel's. I tried it in the store and I liked that it didn't leave an annoying greasy feeling on my hands, which other hand lotions can do sometimes. This cream 'protects' your hands against the cold and keeps them moisturized for a long time. It's a thick cream that smells like eucalyptus. I'm not the biggest fan of the smell, but it doens't bother me.

This hand cream is available in all Khiel's stores and on their website. You can get it for 16 euros. It might not be the cheapest handfood ever, but as I said, I've had this for a year or so know and there's still a lot in the tube. A little goes a long way with this one and it really is amazing.

What's your favorite hand lotion?

Astrid

Nail of the Day: Topshop Nailpolish in 'Moonstone'

Saturday, September 8, 2012

Today I have a Topshop nailpolish to show you guys! I bought this on holiday in Copenhagen. Sadly, we don't have Topshop stores in Belgium, but I always wanted to try their nailpolishes! When I saw this in Denmark, I could't resist buying some colors. I bought this color, named 'Moonstone'. This a metallic rose gold color, which always looks different in certain lights.

I'm really impressed with this nailpolish! I used two coats, but one was quite opaque as well! The only downside is that this will accentuate every single line in your nail. So a base coat is (as always) recommended ;)

This nailpolish is not really cheap, it's 6£ or around 7 euros, but because I bought this in Denmark, I payed 10 euros for it. I would really recommend this polishes, because they're unique in colors, they're opaque and dry really quickly!

Have you tried their nailpolishes?

Astrid

NYC Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm Review

Saturday, September 1, 2012

Hey everyone, today I'm gonna talk about the cutest lip balm I've seen and used in years! The NYC Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm in the color 'Caramel Apple'. I saw these were new at Kruidvat, but it took me a while to get it, because they sell out so fast all the time! But I managed to get my hands on one and I really like this!

I really like the packaging of this lip balm. It's bright reddish pink with silver letters on it, very eye catching and easy to find in your purse or makeup bag.

This lip balm smells like apples and feels so smooth on your lips. I also find that it stays soft and smooth quite a while. It doens't take care of your lips like a real lip treatment, but it keeps them a bit moisturized. It also gives a really nice shine.

The cutest thing about this lip balm is the balm itself. It has a little apple print! I love it! :D
This color is really sheer and doesn't really shop up much on my lips, but it gives a subtle shine to them and makes them look nice. I tried swatching this but the color also didn't really show up that well.

However, after I bought this one, I went back and bought it in the color 'Big Apple Red', which is a sheer but oh so pretty red color! If you want something that shows up on the lips, I recommend that one. I like them both.

This lip balm is available at Kruidvat, for €2,76 only!

What's your favorite lip balm?

Astrid.

Little Lush Haul!

Friday, August 17, 2012

Today, I went to the Lush store in Brussels and I bought some bath stuff, two Bath Bombs and one Bubble Bar. This is the first time I buy something at Lush, because I've never really find something worth buying. It was kind of hard to choose between the bath bombs because the store smells so outrageous and strong like soap, that I couldn't really smell the actual products! But I found these ones and I'm happy that I got them. At home, I could finally really smell them and they smell great ;)

To describe the scents, I went to the lush website to look at the descriptions because I'm not great at describing scents.

           Clockwise: Honey bee, Twilight, Amandopondo

Honey Bee (Bath Bomb)

"What’s all the buzz about our glorious, best-selling toffee-scented globe? It could be the addictive scent of honey and toffee with mood lifting sweet orange oil. Or, it could be the Moroccan Rhassoul mud to gently deep cleanse and soften your skin. Perhaps it’s the calming aloe vera that makes the bath water silky soft. Maybe it has something to do with all of the skin soothing honey we pack into each Bath Bomb to soften you up and keep your skin moisturized. The only way to find out is to try one"
Price: €5,45

Twilight (Bath Bomb)

"Recreate the magic of a starry night in your bath water with clouds of lavender, ylang ylang and ovaltine to fight the demons of insomnia and soothe your stressed out body and mind. Our most relaxing Bath Bomb yet, Twilight is our gentle, reassuring hug for the bath to transform you from worn out to warm and fuzzy. It changes colour like the sky at dusk, from pinks to purples and darker still. Lay back in the comforting herbal waters to soak your troubles far, far away."
Price: €5,15

Amandopono (Bubble bar)

"Amandopondo is scented with rose absolute and a citrus twist of lemon and orange oils to help you forget your worries and clear your conscience as you soak in a tub of beautiful fluffy bubbles."
Price: €5,45

I'm really excited to take a relaxing bath and use one of these products! They're not the most cheap products but they are quite big so you can break them up in different parts and get more than one bath out of them.

What's your favorite lush product?

Astrid

Sephora Nail Art Patches Review

Thursday, August 2, 2012

Hi everyone! Today I'm doing a review on a nail product: the Nail Art Patches of Sephora. These came out after Sally Hanssen released her Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips.

What are these?
These are some sort of stickers with a cool design (or just one color) made out of REAL nailpolish that you can just stick on your nails. I tried regular stickers with designs on my nails and they peeled of after 3 minutes. But these on stay on perfectly, so far!

You just chose the right size for your nails, peel off the nailpolish and stick it well on your nail, starting from your nail bed to the end of your nail. These are very long, so you just file the remaining away. And there it is, a trendy, longlasting design on your nails within minutes!
When you are tired of the design, you can just remove it with nailpolish remover :)

These cost €9 per pack. Yes, that's not cheap but I think this is so cool for a special occasion or an event or something. I'm going out this weekend and this naildesign is just perfect! Also, they last a really long time. I'll keep you guys posted on how long they last ;)

Update: I put this pacthes on friday and today, wednesday, they are stil looking good! They have worn off a bit on the edges, but a regular nail polish wouldn't last as long!

What do you have on your nails right now?

Astrid

L'Oréal Color Infallible Eyeshadow in 'Hourglass Beige'

Monday, July 30, 2012

Hi everyone! Today I want to show you guys an eyeshadow that I bought in France, in the beginning of July. I was walking around on a market and I saw a stand that sold Maybelline and L'Oréal for really low prices. Now, I know you have to be careful with these kind of things, because the make up they sell can be fake. BUT I thought the packaging looked identical to the ones you can find in the store, so I decided to try it out. I bought this eyeshadow for €4 and I was happy because L'Oréal can be really expensive in Belgium.

I think the packaging looks really good. It's not small, but not too big so you can throw this eyeshadow in your makeup bag and take it with you! :)

The eyeshadow is actually a pigment, but with this little black presser, you can press the pigment so it won't spill all over the place. I think it's genius that they did this, because working with pigments can be a bit tricky. You have the pigmentation of a pigment in the form of an eyeshadow: awesome!

I really like this color, it's a neutral beige color, with a metallic sheen to it. It's reat for an everyday eyelook, but it gives your eyes a little pop and makes them come alive!

                                      Swatch: Hourglass Beige

The eyeshadow feels soft and goes on smoothly. This is a great eyeshadow! I happy with this one, they're really worth checking out! In Belgium, you can find L'Oréal at Kruidvat, Di, Ici Paris XL, ... and they cost €9,99!

What do you prefer, loose eyeshadows or pressed ones?
Have you tried this line of eyeshadows?
xx,
Astrid

They are finally here: Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow 24hr Review

Monday, July 23, 2012

Yes yes yes, ladies! These are finally available in Europe! I was on a visit in Sluis, Zeeland this weekend and I found these eyeshadow in Etos! I could not believe my eyes! I snatched them off the shelf and couldn't stop staring at them :D

I bought two colors, 'On and on bronze', a bronzy color and 'Permanent taupe', a dark taupe. In the states, these are knows as 'bad to the bronze' and 'tough as taupe'. I don't know why they changed the names in Europe but I liked the other name better.

                                          Left: On and on bronze
                                          Right: Permanent taupe
The packaging of these reminds me of the M.A.C. Paintpots, with the glass container and the black lid.

On to the swatches! I really like these colors, I think they could be great as a base color, but also as a color all over the lid! This is great for when you don't have a lot of time in the morning, you just put on of these on and you're ready to go!

Swatches: On and on bronze, Permanent taupe

But now: THE question. Do these really last all day, or even 24hr?
I decided to try it out! I used Permanent taupe as a base for my make up today. No primer, just this eyeshadow!

Permanent Taupe, blended out at 8AM
My eye makeup today, using the UD Naked palette, at 8AM (8u)
After a day of work, at 6PM (18u)

So the answer is no, they don't last all day :( After 10 hours, this is what it looks like on my eyes! I can have really oily eyelids, mostly in the summer, and I really need an eye primer under my eyeshadows, especially cream eyeshadows. I'm kind of disappointed because these could have been great and I heard such amazing things about them!

Do I like this product? Yes, I do. I LOVE the colors and I will use these a lot. But, I'll have to use an eyeshadow primer with it!

These are €9,99 in Etos in Holland but I got a reduction of €5! I think they're also available in Belgium now! So go, get yourself some! :D

Do you like the Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows?

Urban Decay Lip Love in 'Failbait'

Sunday, July 15, 2012

Another product I bought when I was in France, was the Urban Decay Lip Love Honey infused lip therapy lipgloss. That's a long name! This products was on sale for -70%! I only payed 4,80 euros for this, which is insanely cheap for a Urban Decay product. I got the color 'failbait', which is a sheer coral color. I thought this would be perfect for summer!

I like the description on the box:

It's true love... Our honey-infused lip therapy feels cushiony, shines like crazy and moisturizes lips with essential fatty acids, moisturizers and antioxidants. This stuff is way too serious to feel soooooo good. With it's hint of tint and luscious honey scent, you'll want to keep one in your bag, one at your desk and one at your lov-ah's.

                                                   Swatch: Failbait

The gloss smells great, just like honey! It does not feel sticky at all, which I love as well. But I had expected just a bit more color. The gloss shows up clear on my lips, too bad because I really liked the coral color :( I'm happy that I got this gloss on a discount, because I don't think I would ever buy this full price (16 euros).

Do you like Urban Decay products? What's your favorite?

Urban Decay Naked Palette 2: Get Naked... Again!

Friday, June 29, 2012

FINALLY! Yesterday, I was visiting Paris with my parents. We went shopping in Marne La Vallée and a shoppingcenter near by. Suddenly, I saw a Sephora store and finally, I could buy the Naked 2 palette. They say this is THE bestselling product in Sephora right now.

This is what the outside of the packaging looks like. It has a metal compact casing.
And this is the inside. As you can see, it has a nice large mirror on the inside. The original Naked palette had a smaller mirror, which was not really easy to work with, in my opinion.

This palette contains 12 neutral eyeshadows, some of them brand new and exclusive in this palette! The eyeshadows have different textures and finishes, it contains a mix of mattes, satins, and frosts.

From left to right: Foxy - Half baked (which was also in the original palette) - Bootycall - Chopper

Swatch: Foxy - Half Baked - Bootycall - Chopper

Foxy is really close to my skintone, which is why it doesn't really show up that well. But you can use this as a crease color, to help blend out other shadow more easily. It can also be used as a highlight.
My favorites: Bootycall and Chopper.

Left to right: Tease - Snakebite - Suspect - Pistol

Swatch: Tease - Snakebite - Suspect - Pistol

My favorite: Suspect. It glided on so smoothly on my skin and I just love the color!

Left to right: Verve - YDK - Busted - Blackout

Swatch: Verve - YDK - Busted - Blackout

I think Blackout could have been a bit more creamy and pigmented. I had to built up this swatch a bit. It's a great color, don't get me wrong, but I think it could've been better.
My favorites: Verve and YDK

All the eyeshadows are amazing. They glide on your skin like nothing and feel as soft as butter.Urban Decay did (again) an amazing job creating this palette!

This palette also comes with a double ended brush. On the right, we have a crease brush and on the other side we can see the shadow brush. These brushes feel really soft and I think they will be great!
This palette also containes a little Urban Decay Lip Junkie Lipgloss in 'Naked'.

Swatch: Naked

This color is an everyday, neutral pinkish color. It's a bit sheer, what makes this wearable and gives you the opportunity to use it alone or over a lipstick you may already own.

I'm really happy I finally got my hands on this palette, I've been wanting this eversince it first appeared on their website. I payed 43 euros for this in the French Sephora. Yes, that is kind of expensive, but if you look at the prices of a single UD eyeshadow, this is a great deal. A single eyeshadow is 17 euros. Yes, you have read this correctly, 17! With this palette, you get 12 full-sized ones for only 43 euros in stead of 204 euros (thanks, calculator), which is an amazing deal! Also, these are colors you will use a lot. They're perfect for school, a wedding, work, ... But also a night out with friends because of the more dark and smoky colors. You can go from day to night with this palette! ;)

Do you own this palette? What do you think about it?
xx Astrid
