Beauty Haul: Kiko, Sephora and more!

Thursday, January 2, 2014

Haaaa, the first blogpost of 2014! I hope you all had a festive New Year's Eve! A week ago, I went to the French city Lille and I did some shopping there! I went to Sephora, Kiko and I also bought some stuff in the beauty section of a supermarket.

Firstly, I went to Kiko and I bought one of the Kiss Balms. This are described as 'A nourishing treatment with a full-bodied texture that unites lip care and vibrant colour with the pleasure of delicate fruit aromas'. I got the color 'Blackberry' and I love it. It feels very soft and moisturizing on the lips and it is quite pigmented for a lip balm.

Next, I went to Sephora. The Sephora in Lille is quite small and does not have a big selection of brands, like the Sephora's in Paris or other cities. I wanted to check out the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, but it was completely sold out. I decided to look around a bit more and I found two things that I really liked: The Benefit 'The bronze of Champions' palette and the Sephora 'It' palette. I will probably do more in-debt reviews about these products.

We also went to a supermarket to buy some food for the evening and I went to the beauty section. They had brands like Maybelline, Rimmel, Bourjois and L'oreal and I noticed the products were soooo much cheaper than in Lille itself at stores like Printemps or Galeries Lafayette. So I got a Rimmel nail polish in the color 'Apricot Punch', which was only €2.90. I think this color is discontinued now, so maybe that's why it was so cheap. I also got a L'oreal Infallible eyeshadow in 'Sahara Treasure' and I have worn this every single day since I got it. It's such a beautiful color!

Would you guys like to see a review on any of these products?

Astrid
