February Favorites 2014: Beauty and more!

Monday, March 3, 2014

Hey everyone! February has flown by and we all know what that means: it's time for the monthly favorites! I'm really excited about March because it's my birthday month. I'll turn 21 this month so you can imagine my excitement and happiness.

Beauty
This month, I used a few older mascaras that I want to finish up. I've been using the Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara a lot, which makes my eyelashes super long and seperates them. Also, the Arcancil Perfect Lash Creamy Mascara has gotten a lot of love this month. This gives a more dramatic look to the eyelashes, it makes them really long and thick. I love it! As always, I've been using my Too Faced Shadow Insurance to prime my eyelids.I've used up my Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch concealer this month...and got a new one! (empties post coming soon!)

As eyeshadows, I used the Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in R.S.V.P. and my Urban Decay Naked palette a lot, along with some other eyeshadows like the Catrice Liquid Metal Eyeshadow in Gold 'n Roses and a LE Urban Baroque Catrice quad from 2011 called 'Fleur de Lis'. As an eyeliner, I discovered a new eyeliner by Hema. It's on of their twistable waterproof eyeliner in green, a nice neutral khaki color. It's a very subtle way to spice up your eyeliner. I think it looks amazing with my green eyes :)

My cheeks have been looking great this month, with the N°7 Blush is Soft Damson and with the Sleek Blush by 3 palette in Lace. Especially the middle color, called Guipere, is beautiful!

For my hair, I'm still using the Ouidad Moisturizing spray to detangle it after a shower. It really helps to comb through my hair easier.

I have two nail polishes I'd like to mention this month: 'Ciaté Antique Brooch', a beautiful golden glittery shade and 'Lacquered Up' by Essie. Lacquered up is the perfect red polish!

Food
I wanted to include some food favorites this month. Oh my god, I discovered oatmeal. I often eat whole oats with some yoghurt as breakfast, but I tried to make warm oatmeal with milk and I'm hooked. I can't wait to eat my breakfast every morning because I love it so much! I usually put in a banana (I LOVE warm bananas, I don't know why) and some cinnamon in my oatmeal and it tastes so good. It fills you up and you're good to go until noon! Usually, I get hungry at 10 a.m. but when I have oatmeal, I can keep going! :)
Also, the Lipton Rosehip Raspberry tea has been a favorite this month. It's fruity, summery and... it's pink!
As a snack, I love eating a Choco Prince cookie. It's a cookie with vanilla filling, covered in chocolate. So yummie! I always have these in stock at home or in my studio!
I'm obsessed with Coca Cola Light. I stopped drinking it for a very long time, but I can't get enough of it now!

Music
My favorite song this month was "Drunk in love" by Beyoncé. It's currently the most played song on my itunes. I love it so so so much! :D

Series
-Star Crossed (no spoilers): a very new serie, but I'm already hooked! The series follows a friendship/romance between a human girl and an alien guy when he and six others of his kind are integrated into a suburban high school. It's pretty much the new Twilight. I can't wait for the new episode. Check it out, you'll love it as well :D

-Grey's Anatomy: In the waiting for the new episodes this month, I've been rewatching the older seasons. I love rewachting Grey's, it never gets boring. I also saw the new episode last week, which I really enjoyed ^^

What have you been loving this month?
xx,
Astrid
